Event at Madresfield Court
WCF held a pre-Christmas party and public launch of the Mental Health Fund, with drinks and canapes at stunning Madresfield Court on 3 December. The event was made possible by the generous support of Lucy & Jonathan Chenevix-Trench who opened up their home to 100 guests. The purpose of the night was to bring donors- past, present and future- together with businesses and other charitable organisations, to learn more about WCF’s work and plans for 2020 and beyond.
To support the new Mental Health Fund, speaker Sean Williams from partner organisation The Forge PRU soon debunked myths about PRU’s and working with children with mental health issues by presenting an emotive speech about the disadvantaged young people he works with and the ways in which he supports them.
