Strengthening Worcestershire Fund: New round launching!

WCF is launching a new round of the Strengthening Worcestershire Fund in partnership with Worcestershire County Council.
Through the first two funding rounds in 2024 and 2025, we distributed £287,000 in support of 51 local projects. The new programme will focus on meeting people’s essential needs, helping them to be more financially resilient, better connected and less isolated, to live safely, independently and in good health, with access to the information, community services and digital tools they need. It will also include support for unpaid carers.
The application portal opens on Thursday 1st October.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 29th October for projects starting from March 2027. Organisations which received a grant from the programme in 2024 may reapply (grantees from 2025 are not eligible to reapply). Lucy Wells, Director of Worcestershire Community Foundation, said:
“We are delighted to be working with the County Council once again to deliver further funding to organisations that tirelessly support our communities. We are hoping to fund many innovative and impactful project ideas that will really make a difference across the county.”
