“Thank you once again in enabling our charity to run this project. Your support had gone a long way in meeting the needs of most vulnerable and marginalised residents in Worcestershire.”

Our WCF grant was to support our students Mental Health & Wellbeing. The project is still on-going and is proving to be very successful. Students can easily access support and one of the key points to come out is that ‘it is good to talk’. As a result the students now have an excellent support network, which is great news.

“Thank you for the wonderful news of the £2,500 Covid-19 Response Award.
The grant will go a long way to help us to continue to support anyone with breast cancer in Worcestershire by delivering our support services remotely for the next three months of self-isolation and social distancing.”

“Thank you so much to Worcestershire Community Foundation for their grant to Caring Hands in the Vale – it really helped us through a very difficult period of time during lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Your support has made a massive difference to us, was a great encouragement to our volunteers and has supported many people in need in our local community.”

“Our project is a long-standing project in the community which has an excellent track record of delivering positive outcomes for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The funding from Worcestershire Community Foundation has allowed us to made adaptations and additions to the vital work that we were already doing to meet the challenges posed by the COVID19 pandemic. The project will now be able to continue due to this funding.”
