“Funding from WCF was an essential part of the resource  package that enabled us to launch and develop the Live Chat facility on our website. This was particularly important during a time of lockdown restrictions when it was more difficult  for those living with domestic abuse to make audible contact with agencies like Women’s Aid for information and advice. Using Live Chat made it possible for people to contact us ‘silently’ using their smartphone, tablet or computer, and WCF funding ensured that there were appropriate experienced staff available as and when that contact was made.”

“Thank you for the wonderful news of the £2,500 Covid-19 Response Award.
The grant will go a long way to help us to continue to support anyone with breast cancer in Worcestershire by delivering our support services remotely for the next three months of self-isolation and social distancing.”

“The Worcestershire Community Foundation Grant was one of those that enabled us to focus on the immediate needs of people with sight loss, to look at the longer term impact and to work towards making changes to the way that our services are provided as a result of Covid 19.”

“I would like to say a huge thank you to Worcestershire Community Foundation for their very generous grant which has gone towards enabling us to carry out our community delivery and befriending services during the pandemic to the people of Evesham and the rural vale. We would certainly not have been able to do all we have done without your support.”
