Visit to Droitwich CVS
Trustee, Oliver Carpenter and Grants & Funding Officer, Karen McVeigh had the privilege of visiting Droitwich CVS in April.
The charity was a grant beneficiary of our Strengthening Worcestershire Fund at the end of last year and they have been putting that funding to very good use.
Tonia Enderby, CEO and Candice Virr, Community Engagement Officer made Oliver and Karen most welcome and talked about the myriad of services they provide.
Oliver said of his visit:
“The breadth and range of activities we saw Droitwich CVS were up to was really exciting, both for Droitwich itself and its rural communities which can often be forgotten. Plus the ‘can do’ attitude to new opportunities from the small team ensured that we could see that no-one was left behind.” Oliver Carpenter
