GREATER COVID IMPACTS ACHIEVED

Working with Worcestershire County and District Councils, Worcestershire Community Foundation has given out £450,000 of funding to 46 organisations across the county during October.

The Covid Impact programme was set up to address issues arising in communities as a longer-term result of Covid impacts on local people, including mental health, physical health/disability, domestic abuse and isolation. WCF was inundated with applications from a wide range of community groups for diverse projects; the 46 projects that have been funded reflect the best of the community, a diverse range of innovation and clear positive outcomes.

Funded groups included: Simply Limitless, North Worcestershire Basement Projects, Carers Careline, Home Start Wyre Forest, Tenbury NILS scheme, Yellow Scarf, Relate Worcestershire, Malvern Special Families, Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
