Charity Golf Day Raises £19,000
We raised over £19,000 through our recent Golf Day at Blackwell Golf Club. Supported by sponsor Charles Stanley this event brought together 60 business professionals and supporters from across the county for a day of sport and enjoyment both on and off the course.
Frequent rain squalls failed to dampen the spirit of the event, with an afternoon of friendly golf followed by evening dinner and auction. Funds were generated through team entry, sponsorship, on-the-day fundraising activities and a highly successful auction.

We are delighted with the success of our inaugural WCF Golf Day. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring the Worcestershire business community together, raise vital funds and share more about our work across the county. The level of support we received was incredible and made it a truly memorable day. We are now considering making this an annual event, so watch this space!
The Foundation would like to extend particular thanks to trustee Tim Venner, whose leadership and organisation were instrumental in delivering such a successful event, alongside the wider team and supporters who contributed both on and off the course.

This was an excellent event and an outstanding result. It not only raised significant funds, but also helped to increase awareness of the Foundation and bring people together in support of our work across Worcestershire. My thanks go to everyone involved in making the day such a success, particularly Tim Venner our trustee and sponsor, Andrew Grant for running the auction and Bea Grant our WCF President for her wonderful speech.
With overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, we are now exploring plans to build on this success and establish the WCF Charity Golf Day as a regular fixture in our events calendar.
