Rooftop Housing Association
In 2020, Rooftop, with the support of Worcestershire Community Foundation, Morrison’s, Asda, Aldi, Radis and Caring Hands in the Vale, supported our customers most in need with 657 hampers and dozens of children’s gifts at Christmas.
During the pandemic the hampers were needed more than ever.They were received by survivors of domestic abuse, homeless units, vulnerable families, children, customers in our Older Person’s Service, young people in our Young Person’s Service and individuals with dementia in our care facilities. We provided essential items, toiletries, sanitary goods, food, activity packs, gifts for children and a few treats for all.
The hampers led to very positive feedback: ‘Very touched with gift bag I received’; ‘A lovely surprise. Thank you so much’; ‘So happy with goodies bag, enjoyed the mince pies especially’; ‘Lovely surprise, very unexpected’.
