Redditch Boxing Academy (Comic Relief)

Redditch Boxing Academy was awarded funds to start up a number of additional classes aimed at different sections of the community not yet reached by their activities: older people, those with learning difficulties, and those with physical disabilities, who did not find it easy to access mainstream fitness activities.

The club started up classes in Inclusive Zumba, Zumba Gold, Inclusive Box Fit, and Flexi Fit. These were run for a short period to test out demand, and having met with a good response, the grant was used to support the classes until numbers organically built up over time.
