Droitwich Rugby Club have been extremely lucky to have so much support from the community & local organisations during the community drive to support around COVID – 19. None more valued than the funding & help from Worcestershire Community Foundation.
Droitwich Rugby Club partnered with Droitwich CVS to deliver a new food supply scheme for the entire Local Wychavon Community. Droitwich CVS took calls & requests from those in need whilst Droitwich RFC converted the club house to Purchase, Source, Package & Distribute the Food Parcels to the local community.
To date, the scheme has now provided over 11,000 Meals to those most in need of help. Our strong volunteer force of 90+ individuals have tirelessly given up time to ensure all areas of Droitwich & Surroundings are covered.
