Citizens Advice Wyre Forest

When the pandemic hit us in March 2020 we had to switch to remote working at very short notice.
Switching to remote working was a vital but expensive necessary action to take because the demand for our services was beginning to soar. We were an important voice in the turmoil, where other businesses had not yet adapted, where people were suddenly required to stay within their homes, our volunteers were there to reassure and provide advice.
With the funding we purchased: Laptops, Chromebooks, VOIP phones, wifi boosters, SP links and headphones, PPE equipment & desk screens.
We receive many many testimonials from our clients:

“Thanks for all you do for people and all you’ve done for me.”

“You helped me to cope since my husband passed away 4 years ago and I am very grateful “

“ What seemed like a mountain now just feels like a bump in the road – thanks to your help and guidance”

“ The time and effort you put into getting my situation sorted astounded me, I would never have managed without you lovely knowledgeable people “

We will continue to deliver our frontline services digitally via phone, webchat, and email; the last twelve months have shown this is effective and allows us to help more people. We have offered face-to-face services for the most vulnerable in our society throughout the pandemic and will continue to do so.
