Action for Children LGBTQ+ Groups

Among the workshops facilitated by Worcester Paint Festival, was that led by Oly Bliss at Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum with Action for Children’s regional LGBTQ+ groups. They focused on positive words and were inspired by the Paint the Streets exhibition.

Sarah Minshull, Action for Children said:

“It was brilliant for the young people to identify another safe and welcoming space in Worcester. Firstly, the young people had a tour of the street art in the museum. They were inspired and this set the positive tone of the session. They really enjoyed producing the art, talking about what it meant to them and working alongside Oly. It was great to bring groups together from different areas to meet each other.”
