South Worcestershire DIAL (Disability Information and Advice Line) was able to provide a benefits advice and broader, longer-term money management support to people with mental health issues while they are in still in hospital and at the point of being discharged from mental health care.

People in this situation can often struggle with reduced income at a time when it is difficult for them to seek help. The service focuses on benefit support, financial planning, budgeting, debt avoidance, advocacy and employment advice.
