The Young Foundation and Open University Citizen Science Research – Putting Communities Centre Stage in Covid-19 Recovery
Community has been at the forefront of the Covid-19 crisis; central to narratives about shared responsibility and the need to celebrate the acts of kindness and solidarity taking place in cities, towns and villages right across the UK. It’s time to let community be at the centre stage of the post-Covid-19 recovery effort. The good news is that this can be done.
The Young Foundation, in partnership with The Open University, is running a three-month, UK-wide citizen science research project COVID-19 and Me to explore what impact the pandemic and associated social isolation measures are having on individual and community wellbeing, resilience and quality of life.
